Gingerbread House Workshop
Kannapolis Parks & Rec will hold its annual gingerbread house workshop this coming Saturday, November 17.
Participants can build a house for fun, or enter their creation in the Kannapolis Christmas Gingerbread House Contest.
The workshop starts at 10 a.m. at Sweet Pickle Bakery & Deli on Floyd Street near Fire Station #1 in Kannapolis. The deadline to register is Tuesday, November 13.
If you want to participate in the contest:
Entries will be judged in three age groups: 10 years and youngers; 11 years-17 years; and adults 18 years and older. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in all age categories.
