Pancake Day in Concord on Thursday | Community Spirit

Concord, NC – On Thursday, March 17, 2011, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Boys and Girls Club of Cabarrus County will hold its annual Pancake Day. The event will take place at The Boys and Girls Club, located at 247 Spring St. NW in Concord.

A Concord tradition for over sixty years, Pancake Day opens the doors of the Club to the community at large, offering a hot breakfast including pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, and Sundrop.  Meals are served with a smile all day long by our Board Members, staff, and volunteers.

The event acts not only as a fundraiser for the Club, but also as an opportunity for the whole community to come together, eat, and fellowship.  Several thousand people attend this event each year. 

2011 is also the 65th Anniversary of the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County.  The Club will be celebrating this anniversary throughout the year.  There will be pictures and other memorabilia on display at the Club during Pancake Day.
