Car crashes after chase in Kannapolis, driver disappears | Crime
KANNAPOLIS - Police in Kannapolis chased a car, which ended up crashing into a wooded area off of Concord Lake Road around 1:00 Sunday morning.
But when police got to the car, the driver was not there. Police searched the area, but so far, no sign of him or her.
Officers say they are not actively searching for the driver, but are continuing to investigate. No word yet from police why the chase started.
