SALISBURY - Over the last several months the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit has been conducting an Undercover Drug Campaign focusing on individuals involved in the sell of Prescription Medication.

During the course of the investigation detectives working in an undercover capacity meet with various individuals throughout Rowan County and purchased various prescription medications.

At the end of the investigation detectives obtained multiple arrest warrants on 15 people. Over the St. Patrick’s Day Weekend deputies began arresting the suspects in these cases.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office currently holds warrants for the arrest of the several additional people in connection with this investigation. Anyone with information can call Rowan Crime Stoppers 1-866-639-5245 or Lt. Chad Moose (704) 216-8687.
